1. Electric Air pump

   Excellent value as part of our kit, our AC electric air pump will inflate your birth pool in 5 minutes (a bit noisy but very effective).

   Please note that some batteries powered pumps do not have enough power to inflate the birth pool to its full pressure.

    

2. Tap connectors

   Our Tap connectors are offered free of charge with your KIT. We stock 2 of the most popular type that will fit around 90% of all tap. However, if you have larger or more fancy tap you may need to check at your local DIY where you will have a wider range of connectors to meet your need. We hope that our customer will understand that it is impossible for us to have in stock a whole range of tap connectors. The cost will be too high and we would have to charge you more than you will actually pay in your local shop.

    

   • Square Tap Connector: Maximum width of 34mm and a tap height of 43mm.
     
     
   • Round Tap Connector: Maximum diameter 18mm.

    

    

3. Fresh Water Hose

   Made in Water proposes a multilayer hose, made from materials carefully selected for their technical properties: non-kink, anti-algae, free from Phthalates, Lead and Cadmium.

   The standard garden hose is made with many dangerous chemicals (and technically shouldn't even be used to water a garden) these chemicals not only come out in abundance with the first use (flushed out along with manufacturers "grease" but leach out over time with breakdown of the hose). It isn't necessary to use an eco hose but we like to eliminate all unnecessary chemicals where possible especially in such an occasion.

   As you will notice most garden hose available in DIY shop carry the following warning "not safe for drinking water". This is due to the numerous chemicals involved during its manufacture, to make it durable and flexible. Those chemicals have the bad habit to break down and release toxin especially as the hose get older.

   If you do decide to use a garden hose to fill your birth pool then it is strongly advised to use only a brand new hose and flush it with fresh water for few minutes, this should flush away 80% of the chemical residue.

    

4. Mini Water Pump

   Our submersible water pump is perfect to empty your birth pool easily and silently. A must if you are planning to use your pool prior the birth for relaxation, or later for early baby swimming lesson.

   Please note that the water needs to be strained before using the pump.
