About us
The natural pregnancy, childbirth & baby centre is run by Clare Taggart and experienced HypnoBirthing antenatal teacher, birth Doula, and mum of two. The centre is for pregnant women / couples and new families, enabling you to be able to drop in for a chat and a coffee and find out about what services are available in your area for you and your baby. We will do our best to help you find the information on the local services / information that you want.
We are ideally located in a peaceful village near the Shropshire / Staffordshire border in the West Midlands. Easily accessible within a maximum of 25 min drive from Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton, Stoke on Trent, Cannock and 10 mins from Stafford, Penkridge, Newport (Shropshire!) and surrounding villages. Why not visit the Red Lion ice cream farm whilst your here ( 5 mins away) for a cream tea, lunch, or a beautiful ice cream!
Store Facilities
- Breastfeeding Friendly ~ Comfortable seating, drinking water provided, private area available if you prefer.

- Children's area ~ Childs table and chairs with colouring books and pencils, Jigsaws - to entertain toddlers whilst you shop!
Beautiful Births Philosophy
Here at Beautiful Births we firmly believe that in the majority of cases women can and should be able to have a calm, relaxed and enjoyable natural birth. Pregnancy and childbirth is after all a normal healthy act for women the world over. Women have been birthing their children naturally and safely without medical assistance for hundreds of thousands of years. All 'mums to be' should be offered and given the support they need to birth where ever and in whatever manner they feel safest, most comfortable and confident, be that at home or in hospital.
We are passionate about natural childbirth and the many benefits of such for both mum, dad and baby.
