ABOUT ME
Hi I’m Selina and I live in South West London with my husband and 4 children, a daughter aged 19 and 3 sons aged 6, 9 and 12.
I have always been interested in pregnancy, birth and babies and since having my own children and supporting some friends through their births I have become passionate about women feeling empowered and supported through their pregnancies, births and beyond.
I had good birth experiences with all 4 of my children, although not everything went exactly to plan at times (babies have their own agenda!). My first child was born in hospital, with my second I was induced in hospital, my third was a planned home birth and with my fourth I was also induced in hospital. My home birth was my ‘favourite’ birth as I felt really well supported and listened to by the people around me.
I suffered with postnatal depression after my first child so I understand how important it is to have plenty of support around you during pregnancy, birth and early motherhood.
We will always remember how our children came into the world and as a doula I want to support birthing people and their partners and family to have a beautiful and positive experience. Every birthing person deserves to be treated with respect, empathy and kindness during their pregnancy and birth.

My Services
Birth Doula Services
I want to support birthing people and their partners and family to have a beautiful and positive experience. I am committed to supporting you through your own journey to prepare and plan for your baby’s arrival. I can offer support at any type of birth: home, hospital, Vbac, caesarean.
I want to give you the confidence to decide what is right for you and your family. I will listen to you and support you emotionally and practically through the pregnancy and birth and help you make informed decisions by making sure you have all the information you need.
My focus is you and supporting you to have a beautiful birth experience.
The birth package includes:
-
phone and email contact throughout the pregnancy
-
2 or 3 antenatal visits to prepare and plan for the birth and the newborn stage, discussing various details such as birth preferences, pain management, contents of labour bag, things to prepare for baby’s arrival, feeding preferences/techniques etc
-
I will be on call 24 hrs a day for you from 2 weeks before your due date until you give birth
-
continuous support throughout labour and I will stay for a couple of hours after to help with the first feed and get you settled
-
a postnatal visit within the first 10 days to support you with anything you need such as feeding, discussing the birth, newborn practicalities or just a friendly chat
-
phone and email support during the first 6 weeks after birth​
PostNatal Doula Services
As a postnatal doula I want to protect and support you, your partner and family through the precious but often delicate early weeks with your newborn. I want to give you confidence in your abilities to be exactly what your baby needs.
Postnatal package:
-
provide you with informational and practical help with feeding your baby (either breast or bottle, whichever is your preference)
-
guidance and support with day to day newborn care such as routines, bathing, sleep, changing etc
-
support you during your first outing with baby (to the shops, baby clinic or just for a walk)
-
practical help with other children, light housework, cooking, driving etc (especially after a c-section)
